Nothing happens for about two days when suddenly the Septhi contact the Xengari again for another meeting regarding the conditions of the treaty for the Dynasty as a whole it would seem they are willing to go along with all aspects but one, which they wish to change.

The Xengari agree to discuss it and presuming nothing changes the Xengari ship docks presumably having the same party moved to a room for such a discussion, informing the Septhi of their intention before hand of course.

[Mthis]

The Septhi delegatian with the Governor in charge appears ready to talk to the Xengari "The Peoples electoral Government wishes to only change one thing in the agreement, everything else appears fine with them. They have voiced an interest in a larger commercial relationship as to better increase export and import of certain goods, and request that Diviners may visit your worlds as to try and find sensitive areas closely tied to the Gods, at your permission of course."

The Xengari delegation listens closely to their translations as they watch the Septhi. Hretai responds.

"We do not see a problem with the diviners if they follow Xengari security codes and their overall number is not exceptionally large. However I have to inquire as to what the 'Peoples electoral Government' intends when they speak of a larger commercial relationship."

"They wish more than a single system dedicated for combined commercial practises as the Government is interested in foreign products ever since weve met other intelligent life of the galaxy"

Hretai listens then seems to consider her reply before responding.

"Before I address the issue I would request to know what exactly your government proposes? I do not wish to speak of irrelevant problems."

[Mthis]

"They propose full open trade, ofcourse with following regulations of our seperate Governments when selling goods within each others space. We support free market policies however with subsidies for new companies to get started"

[Joe Joerson]

"The issue here is that the Overlord does not wish the United Lordships to flooded with alien merchants and their vessels, to allow the Xengari people to become accustomed to the presence of aliens. That is of course why we proposed the trade system previously, as I cannot accept this, I propose we discuss alternatives and you would be able to send back a list of recommendations and a explanation of the issue back to your parliament."

[Mthis]

"May we recommend another beneficial agreement then, for now only our vessels will go to said allocated system as you suggested, but we will allow your traders and merchants full access to our Markets? Does such sound more agreeable, as a start?"

[Joe Joerson]

"Yes it does however your phrasing suggests a future change."

Hretai says this, indicating for the Septhi to continue on presumably to explain their plan or idea for the future change in this relationship.

[Mthis]

"We hope such an open mercantile relatonship might allow your leadership to open up your markets more to us. Of couse if not, your own mercantile operations will have full access to our entire space, as long as they ofcourse follow regulations of their products for consumers"

[Joe Joerson]

"We must thank your Race for such generosity, I am confident that the Overlord will take such into consideration in future relations. As well I am sure Xengari Corporations will follow all of your no doubt reasonable regulations. We will follow this agreement if your parliament agrees as well."

Hretai pauses before continuing. The other two Xengari continue to do nothing of much import, if one could tell their emotions through their suits they would note the acute annoyance from Anrend.

"I would just add now that if we move forward with this agreement an exchange of regulations and other important legal information be conducted so as to keep anything untoward from happening."

[Mthis]

"ofcourse that would just be sensible, the administrative workers on this vessel is already compiling the codified set of laws by the parliament, economical regulations and faithful orders of conduct passed down from the ancient scrolls, such customs which permiate all corners of our society"

[Joe Joerson]

"We are glad to hear that. Shall our recent agreement also take time to reach your Parliament before we can move forward with this agreement?"

[Mthis]

"No, i have proper full authority to act for them here as the Diviners have ensured a stable spiritual link from here to the Capital."

[Joe Joerson]

"We are glad that there is no delay and of your consideration in this matter."

Hretai speaks carefully avoiding the matter of the 'spiritual link'.

[Mthis]

"Our Parliament will be pleased to hear your eagerness to enter our markets then, we hope many of your wares and companies will see fit to take part in this arrangement"

[Joe Joerson]

"And we will without doubt hope the same."

[Mthis]

"Then i would think that concludes the discussions, the Eternal Dynasty of Septhi hope for a long standing and mutually beneficial relationship with your people." The Governor bows to the Xengari after that as his attendants do the same briefly.

"May the Gods bless this endeavour as we are brought closer to the divine answer."

[Joe Joerson]

The Xengari fold their side heads across their chests, Anrend slightly behind the others.

"The Overlord will attempt such a relationship with your Race as well. If there are no other considerations we will return to our ship with one final request. We simply ask that the 'Diviners' that wish to visit Akreonic worlds organize such events before actual arrival in Akreonic guarded space."

[Mthis]

"Ofcourse, that just seems logical, we will ensure the temples contact your government first before arriving"

[Joe Joerson]

"Excellent. If there is nothing more for now we will return to our vessels."

If nothing outstanding occurs or is said on their return the Xengari will do as they say and similarly to before return to their ship.

[Mthis]

The Septhi does not stop the Xengari from returning to their ships, evidently pleasd themselves with this outcome, a Subspace anomaly is detected leaving the main Septhi ship, as almost like a wave in the vague direction of the rest of the Septhi Empire, more than likely somthing to do with their 'diviners'.

[Joe Joerson]

The Xengari watch the anomaly with some interest and distrust, not entirely sure if it is harmless. Of course the Xengari *know* it is the communications system that is apparently monopolized by some priestly caste of the alien society, however it is viewed with suspicion. Discourse in the fleet is on another matter:

'What are the Xenos getting at? Obviously giving up access to your own society without receiving something else of equal or greater value in return in incredibly stupid, its not as though they can trust each other.'

In addition to viewpoints taken for granted like that the matters of debate range between those who support the idea that Septhi must believe themselves strong enough to defeat threats versus the viewpoint that they are naive. This likely imitates such discussion that will occur later among the Xengari throughout the United Lordships.

((Up to you. It would become rather clear pretty fast, once full communication is established, that the Septhi Military/Navy is combined with the Khendros under the same organizational Structure, altoug has a seperate Branch to fit more in line with Septhi way of life and customs and equiptment.

It would even appear the Septhi government would be ready to subsidize Xengari companies who want to start up and set up their Base of Administration in Septhi space, as long as they follow Regulations, meaning companies might find it easier to set up in Septhi space.))
