The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
[Apologies for the late post, at first I did not realise that I was the one supposed to start the thread]
After the conclusion of the Cirnii-Xengari War and the establishment of the Reorginised Serene Imperium of the Blessed Cirnii Realm (under Xengari protection) as well as the Free Cirnii State (created by the Khendros after their own seperate incursion into Cirnii territory) there had now arisen quite a lot of border friktion between the two states as well their respective overlords due to the fact that both of these states claimed to be the actual Cirnii state and thus laid claim to it's old territory, that is each other. Add to that the fact The United Lordships of Akreon and the Khendros have not actually made an official meeting or established formal contact with another the situation was tense and war was an ever looming threat. So it was that a singal was sent into Xengari space, containing a written message in intelligeble Low Kolesh. In it a request for a diplomatic meeting between the two realms in the Cirnii emperors palaceon the planet of Carrak was written, where they might agree to a resolution to the border dispute between the Cirnii and the Xengari.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
(Its perfectly all right, I was out to dinner anyway. )
After receiving this message a reply is sent only a few hours after reception. It "suggests" the meeting is moved to an uninhabited system by the border of the two occupations, with a small fleet already dispatch to go there assuming the Khendros accept. The fleet consisting of two corvettes and one modified cargo transport. The contents of the fleet are also sent in this reply requesting that the meeting be held on board the modified cargo transport, with the Khendros possibly bring a equal number of escorts to the meeting place. The reply is of course sent in both written and vocal versions of the Cirnii language, simply not caring or not knowing about the pheromonal aspects of that tongue. Inside the reply is a welcoming of the idea of a solution to the dispute, possibly in or out of standard Xengari character depending of how one takes the welcoming.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The new location is accepted. The Kendros prepare to send three battleships (not the Stellaris definition of battleship, all Khendros military ships are considered battleships, they are usually roughly the size of a corvette if I have gotten the size of corvettes right) to the location, justifying their number with the fact that the Xengari also stand for the modified cargo transport.
In the meantime commander Rahomd on the Seat of Septhi informed the Septhi government about this new development (while also giving them some selective background information) and asked them to have their part of the Khendros-Septhi fleet ready in case those talks broke down and war broke out. He also adviced them to not send a representative to the meeting as the Xengari did not know of them and it seemed the most advantageous to let them countinue to do so until the time was right.

The Septhi Royal Defence Command by advice of the Septhi government keeps the fleet on alert and preperation status, but refrains from sending a representative, however they request information of the happenings and situations.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari while not pleased with this development accept it, justifying it with a possible xeno inferiority complex to the greatness of the Xengari. As the delegate Overlord Tenshaa has decided upon the Lower Admiral, Viscountess, Hretai as the representative of the United Lordships. Also part of the delegation the High Lady, Dame, Vramois, well regarded as the United Lordships head Xenologist from her work on the Coordination Project. In addition to Low Lord Anrend of the Bureau of Xeno-Civilizational Affairs.
The system chosen while empty of stations or other signs of interstellar civilizations contains several planetary bodies. A few worthless inner rocky worlds and a gas giant with several moons. The Xengari flotilla arrive a few hours before the chosen time of meeting. Far back near the Cirnii homesystem awaits a Xengari fast response force in case the xenos betray the little trust the Xengari have emplaced to them.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Khednros promise to inform the Septhi of any development during this time, particularly those that might affect the Septhi themselves.
Out from a wormhole three ships emerge into the system, one aquired Cirnii vessel flanked by two Khendros ones. Outside multiple ships from the joint Khendros-Septhi military cooperation stand ready to get themselves involved. The three ships approach the Xengari ones with the Cirnii one taking the lead, trying to place itself parallel to the cargo ship.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari flotilla allows them to approach and the Modified Cargo Ship moves slightly to more align with the Cirnii ship. Where the two Corvettes might appear to be some dark hunter of the depths akin to a shark or another analogue, the Cargo ship might best be described by metaphor as an edgy obese whale. Aboard the Cargo ship the Xengari delegation readies themselves for meeting this new alien race.
Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Cirnii ship docks and in comes Councelor Aenax as well as his two Axtromd advicors Xetromd and Rahomd (not the same as the Septhi embassador) followed by four guards, half of which are Cirnii. They look at the welcoming party expectantly.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari welcoming party is very clearly robotic, two bipedal robots with obviously shown integral rail guns making up the majority of their right arms. Standing a little above Six meters tall with trilateral heads they stand back and to the side from four of the Xengari servitor robots, floating clear by some form of magnetic levitation and with many manipulators their general shape resembles something of an aquatic creature. The opening of the airlock opens up into a large hallway clearly designed for the massive Xengari, everything is very compact but the the passage way size is enormous would seem to contradict the design philosophy behind the compactness if one did not know of the bulk of the Xengari. One of the floating servitors speaks in the vocal Cirnii language.
"Follow these units to the location of the meeting."
With that the servitors turn with the Bipedal robots towards the hallway and if followed lead to the room of the Xengari delegation. The trip to the room the delegation is in is short, traversing along a main hall of large proportions, numerous small hallways and passages split off each block by more Xengari robots that track the Khendros delegation as they pass.

Aenax gestures to the others to follow the robots, both to quickly explain what they meant and to assert that he is the one in charge of the operation, the group follows him to their destination, the guards eyeing the robots that they walk pass them.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The room they are taken to contains the three Xengari of the delegation as promised, each wearing a dark blue armored vacuum suit with Hretai and Vramois wearing their insignia and Anrend wearing the insignia of the Bureau of Xeno-Civilizational Affairs. In addition the three Xengari are numerous floating servitors behind the Xengari and quite a number of Bipedal guards along the walls. The Xengari rest upon three cushions that exhibit a odd buoyant quality, possibly the cushions simulate resting upon the sea for the Xengari. Between the Xengari and the three cushions presumably placed for the Khendros delegation, more like giant beds, there rests several consoles and table much closer to the Khendros delegation's cushions.
The Robots which guided the Khendros party to the room move aside to allow the Cirnii and Axtromd to enter. Upon the Khendros delegation's entrance the each of the three Xengari move one of their secondary heads sideways onto the Khendros and raise their other two heads to full height. A voice in the Cirnii language comes through from one of the consoles in front of the central Xengari, Hretai.
"Welcome and please seat yourself."
(Just making sure, Aenax is Axtromd correct?)

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
[No, he is Folc. The title of Councilor comes from the fact that he is a (former) member of the Imperial Councel that ruled the Cirnii Imperium and he is now one of the leading officials of the Free Cirnii State, the whole bit about him asserting his position is because he wants to feel like he is the representative of a soverign nation, rather than simply being a Khendros lackey. His Axtromd companions view him as the latter of course but they want to encourage him to see himself as the former, it is one of the main reasons that their leading embassador is Cirnii; they want to give them the illusion of freedom.]
The delegation does so, with the guards remaining behind. Aenax leans forward.
"As you are all aware we have come to discuss a treaty between the United Lordships of Akreon and the Free Cirnii State now that the war is over so that it becomes certain to whom each one of the border systems belong to."

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari to the right from the point-of-view from the Khendros delegation, Anrend, speaks.
"No Counselor we were not aware that was why you came. The Xengari came to discuss matters with your... ...allies?"

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
He seems confused and looks sideways to his advisors, one of which (Xetromd) seems to say something in a closed channel. He looks back to the Xengari.
"Then you must have missunderstood, my allies arranged this meeting between us so that we could discuss a treaty between one another so as to come to an agreement about what the new borders between our two states should be now that our war is over."

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari watch the interchange with a form of amusement. Hretai responds.
"Indeed, then what does this 'Free Cirnii State' desire in change of the current borders of occupation of the Imperium?"

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
"We 'desire' the return of all the land that you unjustly took from us", he answered coldly, not looking like he shared the Xengaris' amusement and repremanding himself for looking weak as he looked to the Khendros for confirmation of their tale, "but that is clearly not an option so what we want is to establish both a fromal peace between our two nations and an establishment to whom these" he takes up a map showing the area of space that he is talking about" outlying systems beliong to."

The Xengari again are amused however they are more careful about showing such. Anrend speaks.
"And what disfavor do you have about these outlying systems?"

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The three Xengari are once again amused as Anrend speaks.
"Which and how many systems do you wish transferred from between the two powers? Or are you just here to add some legitimacy to your puppet regime?"
The Xengari collectively now have their one sideways on head focused on one of the two Axtromd 'advisers' as if speaking to them rather than Aenax.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
[It may be an english phrase that I am unaware of but in this case neither do I understand what "disfavour" would mean in this scenario]
Aenax looks even more uncomfortable now.
"No, We are here to come to an agreement. I suggest that you get this" He point at the large area 'below' Carrak" while we get that" he points at another, slightly smaller area above it" and that free movement is to be allowed between the Free Cirnii State and the planet of Carrak."

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
(Essentially meaning what do you not like or want about the situation is what he said. Meaning he said the exact same question as the what do you desire, but with different wording in effect. )
Hretai speaks this time.
"If that is indeed your offer we must reject it. However we have a counteroffer."
She pauses for a moment before speaking of the points.
"The Lordships will cede all disputed border systems to the Khendros, enter into a non-aggression pact with the Khendros, and directly cede all territory currently controlled by the Khendros, directly or indirectly, from the Serene Imperium of the Blessed Cirnii Realm to the Khendros. On the condition that all Cirnii who wish to be allowed to move to the Sonne system, the so called 'Free Cirnii State' is disbanded and integrated directly into the Khendros and finally that all Cirnii previously of the Conclave of the Serene Imperium of the Blessed Cirnii Realm be given to the Serene Imperium for punishment of Warcrimes, and high treason against the Emperor."

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
Aenax turned speachless for a few second, then he started to rage.
"Absolutely not! Do you think that I or anyone else would just hand ourselves over on a plate to you to be executed, or disband our own safe haven, just for some empty space, neither the Free Cirnii State, nor the Khendros will agree to such a proposal!"
He faltered at the last bit and looked once again questionably towards Xetromd who makes a reassuring gesture and turns towards the Xengari to speak openly for the first time.
"I am afraid that the Councelor is right, we can not accept such a proposal, we have neither the wish nor the authority to do so. You must forgive him for his harsh words but it is too much for him to accept, you must understand that."

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari now look significantly less amused. Anrend speaks.
"We understand that a race-traitor might be too much of a coward to face his own crimes. We will allow any Cirnii who wishes to relocate under the reign and rule of their Emperor may do so upon a Xengari ship. We will respect the status quo of current borders. That is all. You may leave in peace. Unless of course the Race-traitor or one of his guards might wish to return to Carrak? We would be happy to accommodate him or his guards."

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
"I am certain that they will all keep the option in mind." He smiled, a smile more threatening than his mild tone or small body would imply as he showed his razor sharp teeth. "If the Xengari will accept no other proposal then we will take our leave. It has been a most productive meeting to you all. We will inform our leaderships about the recognition of the current borders and give them your well wishes. Good by." He turned to leave, grabbing Aenax by the arm and making him turn around, causing the latter, still fuming with anger, to come to his senses and follow, at this point not even trying to act like the leader of the party. Rahomd followed as well, observing everything intently and not making a sound. The guards kept their ground for a little while to see if the Xengary were going to stop them before they too marched towards the ship.

Re: The Khendros-Xengari treaty of the Cirnii
The Xengari do not stop them. Two Bipedal Guards follow them to their ship but stop at where the delegation was initially received by the earlier robotic party. Soon after leaving the room the three Xengari ships begin charging to leave the system. The charge is slow enough that it is clear the Khendros delegation would be able to make it back to their ship easily in time but also make it clear that the Xengari do not intend to wait around.
