The Nakturians countinue on their approach, giving out different light singals as they go. Their leaders keeps himself slightly ahead of the others.

The Nakturians mimic the bow while giving out more lights. Rinhoch in particular gives out many signals while gesturing towards his mouth.

[Mthis]

The Septhi stops infront near the Nakturians, raising their hand in a flat palm as a form of greeting. The other Scientist holds an idol with the Sun-mark on it.

[Ell-Ärks]

The Macheidiemians, now kneeling on one leg, first introduce themselves by name. Tarjan then holds up a simple holoprojector showing their planet and it's location, the species anatomy, composition and tribe differences. Simple binary and their alphabet is also being displayed.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians show a symbol of their own, one which consists of a single flame within a complicated body. They would now be only a meter from the Septhi. One of them gestures towards the airlock so as to signal that they want to be let in.

Rinhich observes the things that are shown and tries his best to memorise them. He also shows a picture of Divine Warrior Bagglosch as well as series of inscriptions that may represent text.

[Mthis]

The Septhi nod and gestures to their own Airlock for the Nakturians to follow as they move back towards it, as it opens to allow them in.

[Ell-Ärks]

The micro recorders in the space helmets has recorded everything from sound to visual. Tarjan looks upon his pilot for a brief moment, thinking that these aliens must have some way of communicating by voice. At least they have a written language.

[Caspoi]

[The Nakturians have not mad a sound as of yet, it is even a bit eerie how silent they are.]

The Nakturians follow them in, giving more signals as they do so.

The Nakturians give out more lights, while at the same time pointing at their mouths.

[Mthis]

Once the Nakturians are inside their airlock, they close it off and starts to pressurise the room, before the Septhi, holding their hand to wait before a strange sound is heard. they start removing their helmets as the door to the rest of the ship opens, they stare at the Nakturians intently

[Ell-Ärks]

Because of the silence Tarjan deecides to take the initiate by saying: "Tinato Paaralth! Tina migairba liktrl Macheidiema. Tina migairba tira liktba. Tina ytilto liktth wobabi ytilirobigka."
Which basically means: "Greetings. We are from Mach... . We come in peace. We look forward to your cooperation."

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians, while lacking visisble eyes, stare back. Their leader makes a from of gesture towards his mouth, as if wishing to communicate.

From the rapid opening and closing of the mouth Rinhoch concludes that the aliens do indeed communicate by speech, a rather common trait, he observed. He gives of different patterns of light with his tentacles.

[Mthis]

The Septhi start talking and looks at the Nakturians, intrigued...Clearly surprised at the lack of a mouth, and gestures for them to enter the rest of the ship with them. As they head to leave the Airlock to enter the main section of the ship. Where a ton of Scientists, crew, the Prince himself. and Two spiritual advisors are present.

[Caspoi]

[They have mouths, they are however just gaping holes in which to put food, nothing more advanced than that]

[Ell-Ärks]

No vocal response. More flashing lights. Tarjan concludes that this must be their way of communicating. His training in foreign diplomacy only included primitive communication of vocal species. He feels like he is left with only one option. He raises both arms halfway. In his left six fingered hand he holds a dim flashlight, in his right he holds nothing.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians follow, their tentacles twisting so as to take in every part of the ship. When they meet to large group of Septhi they stop and make a gesture that is supposed to be a greeting.

Rinhoch is unsure of what the gesture is supposed to symbolize.

[Mthis]

The Septhi look at the Nakturians curiously, talking with each other and towards them, in their clearly Alien and vocal language, as one in fine clothing steps forward with alot of markings around the right-chest region of the outfit steps forward and bows, saying a greeting in Septhi.

Observing the Nakturians curiously and tries to make a Gesture back in immitation of the one they did.

[Ell-Ärks]

Tarjan then starts turning the flashlight on and off, repeatedly, at the same time as he points at the flashlight with his right "gesture finger" in an attempt to confirm his theory of these aliens being visual.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians are unsure of how to countinue but feel as if they are making steps in the right directon with the response, one of them takes up a textbook showing a multitude of Nakturian symbols and hands it to the nearest Septhi.

The Nakturians do not at first understand the point he is trying to make but then Rinhoch got the point and point and points at one tentacle that periodically flashes in an imitation of the gesture as if to confirm it's meaning.

[Mthis]

The Septhi looks carefully at the symbols, after being handed the textbook. Looking over them in great detail, as a Septhi is gestured over with a Data-Pad showing their own iconography and Symbols to Nakturians, they seem intend on peaceful relations at least.

[Ell-Ärks]

Confirmation. Tarjan now knows how the foreign species communicate. As Tarjan stows away the torch his pilot picks up a large sealed transparent container with a californium crystal and standard sized macheidieman steel bar.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians study the symbols and try to understand their meaning, a task complicated by the Septhi spoken language.

The Nakturians look curiously at what the aliens are doing, wondering what they have in mind.

[Mthis]

It is no surprise the Septhi have difficulty understanding and communicating wit hthe Nakturians, due to their extreme differences in methods of communication, for now they keep showing the Symbols, clearly their written language. As the scientists talk internally with each other examing the Nakturan iconography.

The Prince, shows a medallion of the Sun, a very elaborate mark. Gesturing to the rest of the Septhi crew as he says a single word "Septhi"

[Ell-Ärks]

Tarjan takes the items and put them in front of him. He also put two holoprojectors on the floor, one for each item. The steel projector shows the molecular structure and a clip showing the extreme strength that it possesses. The californium one shows near empty vaults containing this substance and a clip of a warship being "born" from a machine fueled by the substance.

[Caspoi]

While the Nakturians do not know understand the word Septhi they see the medallion and show a similar one, consisting of a burning fire.

They observe the effects intently, fascinated by the process of the growth.

[Mthis]

The Septhi look at the Nakturian emblem intently, one scientist appears to draw it on one of their devices to memorise it and document it. The leader then nods, after looking at the icon and bows deeply, perhaps as a sign of respect? It would seem that way, possibly.

[Ell-Ärks]

As the clips of both items end the hologram conjoins and shows a staple graph comparing the value of iron and californium. The californium outnubering the average iron price per tonne by 410.000k Migaabth (Macheidiemian crown(i am Swedish)) to one.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians bow in return. Meanwhile they are doing their best to try and understand the meaning of the script, using their own minds and the best computers that they have to try and decipher it. They find no hope however as their minds are simply unable to comprehend the idea of sounds, let alone ones with meaning. They try their best nevertheless [is your language phonetic or pictographic?]

This part is less comprehensible as it shows numbers rather than pictures but the Nakturians do understand that it is a case of statistics. they give one of their own showing elements and their different proprieties.

[Mthis]

(i dont understand what you mean by Phonetic or Pictographic) A Septhi scientist moves up with a tablet, slowly trying to use simple lines to represent mathematics, and start to try and show off mathematical ideas and concepts to the Nakturians, perhaps Mathematics is the universal language?

[I mean is the characters of your language based on sound (phoentic) so that an "I" can be expected to sound like an "I" regardless of circumstances and words are in writing composed of many different characters to make up the entire pnounciation of the word? Otherwise are the different characters meant to symbolise the very object that they refer to? Meaning that an "I" would not represent a sound but for instance "line". A classical example of the latter system is the hieroglyphs.]
