[Ell-Ärks]

The Imperial vessel notes the change in position of four of the ships. Captain Tarjan orders the crew to stay calm and to stay put. A signal is recieved. Captain Tarjan orders the radio operator to send a standard code alien encounter message to all vessels in the system.

[Caspoi]

The response calm the Nakturians down, a response increases the probability of the aliens being friendly. A picture is sent to both of the alien groups, showing their ships grouped together in a way that is meant to represent a question if they know one another.

[Mthis]

The Septhi Vessels receive the signals and message and seem to not know how to respond to these so far. The prince speaks again. "Prepare to move closer, slowly, keep the crew ready for evasive action at a moments notice"

The ships start moving closer, onboard soldiers in the Escort vessel arm up in space-suits and magnetic weaponry as well as breach-charges just incase while the Science vessels crew prepares their own equiptment for close range scanning.

[Ell-Ärks]

The Imperial vessel appreciates the response from the larger group of ships as it opens up the possibility to initiate conversation protocol two (mathematical formulas and dockingport data). Captain Tarjan orders this to be done as soon as permission from home base has been granted.

[Mthis]

The Septhi, not being the larger number of vessels present contiue their approach towards the four Alien vessels at a slow pace, initiating scanning as much as they can to determine what they are composed off amongst things as well as atmospheric conditions.

Within the Escort Vessel the Troopers have their equiptment checked one by one to ensure all is in order and working condition. The suits fit their feline appereance with large extrusions around the head where their large ears would fit, as well as an armored section for the tail thats flexible and maneuverable. Each suit is typical in different colors to depict rank, apart from that they are completly uniform, the officer with them starts briefing them on their task.

"Were going to be providing security and emergency distractic if the meeting with these aliens go sour, we have to protect the Science-Vessel and its Civilian crew at all costs if it comes to it. Is that understood?!" In unison all the Septhi Soldier shout "Sir! Yes Sir!" The officer nods and turns towards the screen on the side of the room which gives them all live-feedback on the happenings outside and in the Science Vessel.

[It is technically my turn before yours but oh well, I will just pretend that the above post was after this one and then we have Ell Ärks be next and after that my own again]

The approaching aliens, combined with with the lack of response from either party regarding their connection to one another did nothing to relieve the disconcertion and suspicions but Rinhoch decided to make a leap of faith and trust them. IF they did turn out to be hostile they might as well do so up close as far away as far as he was concerned. He sends of two of the fighting class ships towards the two approaching ones to meet them on equal ground while he and the remaining one wait see if there is any response from the newcommer.

[Ell-Ärks]

An encrypted message arrives aboard the imperial vessel. Tarjan now has permission to initiate conversational protocol two. Tarjan orders his radio operator to send the message.

[Caspoi]

The message was interprited as an invitation to join the ship with text as well as picture. The exploration class and remaining battle class ships start moving towards it. The other two countinued on their way towards the first aliens. The ships have a thin atmosphere reminiscent to Naktura. The Nakturians themselves are clad in thick battleplate that serves the dual purpose as space suits. They are mostly transparant around the head and it's tentacles.

[Mthis]

The Septhi ships orders a halt as they get close, and sends messages on a variety of frequences, generally pings with certain ammount fo pause between them.

[Ell-Ärks]

The imperial ship remains in position as two ships from the larger group head towards it. It is seen as a positive response. A status report of the situation is also sent to home base.

[Caspoi]

The first group also close to a halt as their counterparts do so. As they recieve the signals they send a few back in return.

The second group countinues on their way towards the lone ship. It has not done anything yet which is found a bit worrying.

[Mthis]

The Septhi Escort vessel halts completly as the unarmed Science vessel starts moving forward, sending pictures of two vessels near each other. Side by side.

[Ell-Ärks]

As the foreign ships keep getting closer, captain Tarjan orders his crew to put on their standard class space light armour in case things get bad. The warp batteries has been almost fully recharged and the power required to run the main engine is almost back online.

[Caspoi]

One of the the ships break of and approach the alien vessels, the others slow itself down. The pictures are sent back as a form of confirmation.

Meanwhile the other two countinue on their way to the third alien vessel, a picture of a docking sequence is sent.

[Mthis]

The Science ship moves up slowly to get into the position as shown on the picture side to the foreign vessel. Very exposed.

[Ell-Ärks]

Captain Tarjan contacts home base a final time through a direct comm link repeating what has happened. Home wishes him and his crew the best of luck and ends with the phrase "May the glory of our empire shine above all!".
Tarjan orders the engineer to fire up the engine, the radio operator to send an animation of the ship moving in to dock (as confirmation) and tells the pilot to fly the ship safely and slowly.

[Caspoi]

The ship moves up parallel to it and starts extending it's airlock, trying to lock it on to the opposing ship. Inside three Nakturians prepare to greet the aliens.

The other ship approaches the alien one, trying to get as close to it as possible without crashing into it.

[Mthis]

The Septhi ship, halts and scans the Nekturian ship closely. Singalling another hail, as one of its airdocks open. To allow some of the Septhi scientists in space suits to climb out.

[Ell-Ärks]

The imperial pilot positions the vessel makes the final adjustments then gives the engineer the docking and airlock key. The imperial docking mechanism is heavy, loud and clunky. Tarjan has decided to only bring his pilot on this occasion. Standing inside the airlock he wonders if his diplomacy skills are good enough.

[Caspoi]

As the airlock goes to it's fullest extent Three Nakturians arrive from it. Their leader takes the front with a more adorned suit. They are all equpped with a longsword, shortsword and a shield but do not take hostile positions with them. Their leader signals to the Septhi with a hand gesture.

Some way from it a similar scenario occurs, although here they manage to latch on their airlock to the other ship's and the Nakturians wait for it to open.

[Mthis]

The Septhi in their suits gestures back with their hands eyeing them up curiously, the 'face' region of the helmet is covered with glass, so its easy to see their Mammalian Felinoid appereance.

[Ell-Ärks]

Tarjan opens the circular outer airlock door. He and his pilot steps out into the foreign airlock.
Tarjan 3.7 (terran) meters tall, average width. His pilot 4.2 meters tall, slightly wide. Both from the same tribe. 7 of the 11.

[Caspoi]

[You don't need to specify terran, meter would be a specific length, as opposed to day or year]

The Nakturians move towards the ship while they swirl their tentacles in what is hoped to be a soothing way.

His sight is met by three Nakturians, led by captain Rinhoch. He steps up to the by Nakturan (average length being between 1.5 and 2 meters, similarly to humans) standards towering figures. There he gives out multiple lights from the end of his tentacles.

[Mthis]

The Septhi Scientists move out into the full vacuum in their suits, small adjustement boosters allows them to approach the Nakturians slowly as they communicate internally on a closed channel.

[Ell-Ärks]

The two macheidiemians look down upon the tentacled child-sized figures. Seeing the lights as some sort of gesture he kneels and bows in a formal fashion. The pilot does the same.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians countinue on their approach, giving out different light singals as they go. Their leaders keeps himself slightly ahead of the others.

The Nakturians mimic the bow while giving out more lights. Rinhoch in particular gives out many signals while gesturing towards his mouth.

[Mthis]

The Septhi stops infront near the Nakturians, raising their hand in a flat palm as a form of greeting. The other Scientist holds an idol with the Sun-mark on it.

[Ell-Ärks]

The Macheidiemians, now kneeling on one leg, first introduce themselves by name. Tarjan then holds up a simple holoprojector showing their planet and it's location, the species anatomy, composition and tribe differences. Simple binary and their alphabet is also being displayed.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians show a symbol of their own, one which consists of a single flame within a complicated body. They would now be only a meter from the Septhi. One of them gestures towards the airlock so as to signal that they want to be let in.

Rinhich observes the things that are shown and tries his best to memorise them. He also shows a picture of Divine Warrior Bagglosch as well as series of inscriptions that may represent text.

[Mthis]

The Septhi nod and gestures to their own Airlock for the Nakturians to follow as they move back towards it, as it opens to allow them in.
