I honestly don't know. I've been passively picking up all sorts of things for a long time, so I may well have gotten it from something, or there may be something out there that has this. But I'm sticking with "I don't know."

Seems cut and dry that he doesn't know. He said he picks up things through cultural osmosis and has no idea where they came from, and doesn't know if the things he says are from any one particular thing or not, if they ever were. And said he doesn't know.

Also I think I'm obliged to scoff indignantly and inform you that only some clans are so unsophisticated as to use torture. That's an inaccurate and damaging stereotype.

Just as not all Yuxun clans are so unsophisticated as to use torture, not all hallucinations involve the Food Movie trailer, though I thought it was pretty cool myself. Still, I think there is great potential for the Yuxun and the Cirnii to have grand old times together, maybe lose a few internal organs. Y'know, partying.

To give you an idea, do you know what Formic Acid is? It exists in most of the insects on Carrak as a defense mechanism against predators. The Folc have evolved to not give a fuck. Have the Yuxun? Smile

Well, it doesn't seem un-friendly. Just that friends need their space sometimes, and other friends should respect that. And sure, ordering people around may seem a bit off-putting, but that's basically what important people do anyway, so surely something could be worked out where the Xengari only tell friends to do things that are smart and benefit both of them!
