Kha'ni-R'leyhan Diplomatic Relations

An Iridescently Robed Kha'ni comes to escort the envoy to their audience with the Protector. He is guarded by several Kha'ni, all wearing masks, robes the color of the sands. In addition they are armed with a spear-club like a Goedendag and a rifle. They would escort them through an underground railway, which leads from the cavern-city to the Protector's Palace.

The star-spawn follow, accompanied by his four deep ones.

Upon arriving at the Protector's palace they are taken to a waiting chamber where there are several Kha'ni also awaiting their audience from the Protector, aside from curious glances when they enter none pay attention to the aliens. However there are several Sand Masked Kha'ni standing up of balconies far up near the ceiling armed with rifles and weapons like Goedendags. The Kha'ni who led them to the waiting chamber disperse, the Sand Maasked moving into side passages and the Iridescently Robed Kha'ni moving back down the way they came. The Other Kha'ni in the Chamber are of various colored robes, some black, bronze, iridescent, and a singular Kha'ni of Bright Red robes.

[Can you narrate the whole way there? Because until then I don't have much to say]

[Joe Joerson]

(Alright then.)

The Star-Spawn an the four deep ones await their audience. Before them goes a Bronze Robed Kha'ni and an Iridescently Robed Kha'ni, they both return and leave. After them the Bright Red Robed Kha'ni goes in but doesn't come out. The alien Envoy is then sent in.

In the Audience Hall, there are two rows of Iridescently Robed Kha'ni ended some distance away from a Throne. On the Throne sits a White Robed and Gold Masked Kha'ni, presumably the Protector. In addition there are eight Kha'ni by the throne, four Black Robed and four Iridescently robed, as well as many Sand Masked Kha'ni with weapons like Goedendags and Rifles lining the walls. There is no sign of the Bright Red Robed Kha'ni.

Four of the Eight by the Throne step forward once the Envoy is at it's appointed position at the end of the rows of Kha'ni, two Iridescently Robed and two Black Robed, and speak in unison.

"You have been given what you have requested, an Audience with the Protector. Now answer this question. What do you want from the Kha'ni Temporary Dominion?"

[Caspoi]

"To bring to you the wisdom of the Great Old Ones, the rulers of this universe and all of the others. Subservience would bring you a great many boons and make you fondly remembered by the Great Old Ones. Not accepting our message will of course be remembered less fondly."

[Joe Joerson]

The Four Respond in Unison.

"We, the Kha'ni, do not accept the Dominion of any others than that of the New Gods. This matter is not negotiable. Is there anything else you would discuss?"

[Caspoi]

"Have you actually seen your 'New Gods'? Do you have any proof of their existance? Will you at least accept the arrival of star-gazers?"

[Joe Joerson]

The Four Speak once more in unison with their usual brevity.

"No. Yes. We do not know what you mean by the term 'star-gazers', we would respond if you elucidate your meaning."

[Caspoi]

"What is your proof? And star-gazers are the leaders of the star-spawn, the 'priests' if you will."

[Joe Joerson]

The Four respond once more.

"Various artifacts and records, only the Protector can decide whether you may view them. We may accept their existence upon proof of such but existence and claims to the holy, the divine, do not necessarily mean such. Even if proved to have Ethereal presence such is not definitively divine. We do not seek confirmation of our beliefs. We ask you to accept them as would your own."

[Caspoi]

"If you do not seek proof the the matter will rest. We do however propose that star-gazers may come to you and military protection for one another against hostile species such as the Domain.

[Joe Joerson]

The Four Kha'ni reply.

"They may come but while they are on our soil they will be subject to our laws. Special provisions might be enforced however. We cannot at this time accept an alliance or other means of mutual protection. While we are grateful for the offer, we would be but a drag on any efforts you make against such a foe. This may change in the future. We hope you will understand."

[Caspoi]

The ambassador seeks an audience.

The Ambassador is lead by an Iridescently robed Kha'ni and several Sand Masked Kha'ni to their audience. The Ambassador is lead not to the before waiting room off of the Protector's audience chamber, but instead is lead to another room that is smaller and more austere. Far back on the opposite wall from the entrance stands various Sand Masked Kha'ni and various unremarkable workers, presumably attendants or the such.

Right in front of the entrance there are several differing seating arrangements as well as room to stand before a desk. At the desk there is a Kha'ni seated using a cushion seating arrangement, they are dressed in Ornate, Bright Red Robes, wearing a mask of Gold, Silver, and Bronze. The mask has a complex pattern of the three colors. One might recognize them from the earlier Kha'ni Broadcast as Incarnate Krh'vat. She finishes writing something on a electronic tablet of sorts, handing it off to one of the attendants, before speaking.

"Welcome, sit or stand if you will do so. I assume you are here discuss recent matters of development in the Galactic realms, Corporeal and Ethereal."

[Caspoi]

"Indeed, this agressive behavior from the Domain does not suit the galaxy and as such we are now to teach them their place in the order of things. We ask you if you would join us as we bring forth galactic peace and stability. It would be in your own best interests if you stopped having such a realm encroaching on your borders and threatening your independence."

[Joe Joerson]

She listens then responds.

"We agree that the Domain is less than suitable for the conditions they currently occupy. While the Dominion would honored to assist in such a cause at the moment, it cannot assist in Corporeal matters. We are still attempting to improve our economic and production capabilities in the Corporium. We will however use our survey network of ships to warn and recruit any new powers we may happen to meet. We may join and be able to provide small things such as armies in the near future however we cannot join any current efforts in the Corporium. We hope you understand."

[Caspoi]

"This is acceptable, if you are unable to help with military means then you will help with others."

[Joe Joerson]

She nods and responds.

"Well that seems to be without issue. Unless there is some other question or topic to discuss or you wish to pay respects to the Protector...?"
