The ships continue on their dead run, flaring their engines once they orbit to the other side and enter low orbit to establish a geosynchonous orbit, scanning the surface all the while. Once they've achieved the correct orbit they again kill their engines and deploy a few shuttles toward designated landing grounds, intent on pulling any and all alien artifacts that they can from the ruins for later study.

"Sacrificing mere slaves is worth it, if it is to save the galaxy of you. Of course, if they did create the Asornuais, they would have a way to switch it off after it has destroyed you."

Planetside the Yuxu research teams roam the surface of the planet taking energy readings from the glowing lights while other teams perform what can only be described as widescale looting by first taking 3D panoramic pictures of the interior of rooms before stripping them bare .

"I have just one word to say to that. Wegyhred, or rather, "Death to Devils" in your tongue.

The captain sending the messages, G-ydar zer Hegegege, ends the transmission. He connects with the rest of the fleet.

"I told them that they should be careful of the Asornuais, and that we should work together to discover the cause."

The prophet on the fleet, Q-werr qur Mornehir, congratulates him on behalf of the Domain, but asks why he was so adamant on not streaming the message directly to him. Hegegege quickly makes a lie explaining himself. He then heads homeward as planned, without he other ships.

A week later, he opens communication with the Kingdom of Viur. The new king praises him, and says:

"Our plan to depose of the Kreazi is working finely thanks to you. What you did was brave, and extremely important. As discussed, Earth shall be yours."

As the Prophet gains news of the three most likely destinations for the Asornuais, he attempts contact with R'lyeh. They refuse to pick up. Desperate to help them, he sends a small fleet towards the R'lyeh home system.
The three proposed planets:

Goowa, a nearby tomb world, home to scavengers from past empires.

Ryne, an ocean world home to high amounts of unintelligent marine lifeforms.

Vhoorl, a planet of R'lyeh.

The Yuxu scientists leave as soon as their samples have been gathered and leave before the planet can make a full rotation, back to the hyperlanes.

A R'Lyehan fleet intercepts it

"You are trespassing on the Great Realm of R'lyeh, state your business immideatly or begone."

"We are just approaching for the earlier agreements. We have something very terrible to tell you, regarding your empire. Fail to respond as we wish, and one of your planets shall perish."

"We do not take threats kindly. This is your last warning, tell us of your purpose or we will open fire."

"Open fire? We were just going to provide information, and how to deal with it. This is related to the incident with the Asornuais, and our charismatic captain who spoke to you. We had a similar education, but that is besides the point. He represents the Domain, and we shall stand for it, and build the relations he sought, and even achieved."

"Achieved?! He certainly achieved something, the emnity of our entire empire. He called our captain, to his very face a heretic who deserved to die, along with our entire species. My kind does not take insults kindly. But my patience has been strained for long enough. You will leave."

"It seems like your species are not only uncivilized, but liars as well. We should have expected that, but we didn't due to our goodwill. It is wasted on you. If your planet is destroyed, you are to blame, not us."

The transmission ends, and the fleet leaves for home.

Ryne, the ocean planet and one of the possible outcomes, is consumed by orbs of light. Soon, the oceans are gone, and only rock is left.

A R'lyehan vessel, sent for an uknown purpose, follows the asournais.

[By the way is there anything more to happen with this event? I am postponing my own galactic plans until this is resolved.]

After watching it consume three planets; two tomb worlds and a planet of primitives, the Domain fleet suddenly leaves it, without any warning. The purpose of this action is unknown.

(I've been busy with other stuff, and since Stellaris was released, people have in general been less active here. I'm going to attempt to be more active for a while.)
