[Event] Glowing Tomb World

A tomb world near the Crownship of Sa suddenly starts glowing. Each day, it changes the color of the light. This seems unnatural, as it should have been abandoned long ago.

[Mthis]

The Royal Science-Division dispatches a Science Vessel to this weird anomaly in their vicinity, escorted by two Corvettes.

[Zuko Darkborn]

The Domain of the Kreazi send a ship of Professors lead by the fifth prophet, Q-werr kan Murw. They send a transmission to the Crownship of Sa:

"This might relate to the Apocalypse thousands of years ago. We advise you to head back for your and everyone's safety. This is not the time to be selfish."

[Mthis]

"We request data on any information gathered if that is the case, this is near our space. We will remain in system for now. We will not approach the world, yet."

[Zuko Darkborn]

The Domain ship flees, followed by thousands of lasers. The fifth Prophet sighs, and then shout: "They are right. We must tell them this." The crew agrees, but not happily.

"We are afraid that we have found the reason we disallow Psychic technology. The Asornuais, also known as the "World Eater." We thought it to be destroyed, but we were wrong. The way it works is to consumes a planet's energy, attempting to destroy anything that comes near, before using that energy to head to another planet, repeating the task. It takes a year for each planet, but in the 50 years the Apocalypse lasted, that meant 50 planets. 50 highly populated planets. If it ever heads for your planet, which hopefully will not happen, you must flee. It does not say in our archives how it was defeated."

[Mthis]

"The Crownship will not abandon its worlds, its citizens homes. The Royal Navy will be informed." The Science vessel widraws relaying information straight back to Royal Navy Headquearters, a full defensive mobilisation is ordered.

[Caspoi]

At this Point a small fleet of R'lyehan ships entered the system.

"What is this commotion?"

As there is now a whole fleet in the system watching the glowing planet, one of them repeats the earlier message:

"What does this have to do with psychic technology? And how does this "Asornuais" look?"

[Zuko Darkborn]

"The Asornuais, was created by a race known as Hiarhines, which specialized in psychic research. They were attacked, close to being obliterated, by the Kreazi Republic. Thus they put their minds together, and a ball of light appeared, consuming the attacking force, consuming the creators themselves, and consuming all the energy on the planet. Then it went on to consume another one. The fifth was the great capital of the United Galactic Federation, the only peacekeeping force left in the galaxy. What we do not understand is how it has returned. It was after all, to be destroyed. R'Lyeh seems to be the prime candidate, with a similar focus to the Hiarhines."

The transmission turns off.

[Caspoi]

"We have fought many horrors from other dimensions, sent by the Great Old Ones to test us, and subjugated more of them. Could this creature not be tamed, made to serve R'lyeh? It might even be an avatar of the Great Old Ones, sent to this world with a message."

[Zuko Darkborn]

A ball of light heads towards Gyahar, the sixth planet of the Domain. Before anyone can do anything, a hundred million Thyaran lives has been lost.

[The Clans]

A science flotilla from the Yuxu clans soon arrives in the system, attracted by the strange readings from a neighboring system. They immediately take notice of the large fleet surrounding the planet and keep to the edge of the system to better escape into the hyperlanes if the ships are hostile.

A message is sent, showing a Thyaran hologram.

"Be careful, this is the Asornuais, eater of planets. It is a relic of the Apocalypse, that have somehow awakened. The R'Lyeh is most probable the ones to awaken it. The Divine Beings will soon stop it, but until then, stay on watch."

[Caspoi]

"We only arrived here after you did, how would we have awakened this thing?"

[The Clans]

"This is very much out of our league. Is it alright if we hang back and observe?" the ship asks as the small flotilla enters high orbit away from the military ships.

[Zuko Darkborn]

"You lack order and slavery. How can you be sure none of your people have privately gone to the planet? Who else researches psychic abilities? The Kreazi has not yet told us all about the planet eater, as we are not yet ready, but we do know it was made by psychic abilities. Surrender and accept order, so this shall never happen again."

[Caspoi]

"Preposterous, for all we know it was one of the Kreazi who did this. Do not fling accusations against us anymore."

[The Clans]

As tensions begin to flash the small flotilla drifts toward the other side of the world, looking for a break in the blockade.

[Zuko Darkborn]

"If it was the Divine Beings that did this, which is highly unlikely, they would have a cause to do it. To rid the galaxy of heretical galaxy-destroyers such as you."

[Caspoi]

"Ha, so if we did it then it would be the greatest crime but if you did it then it would be the most moral action. Seems to have beckfired considering that it is currently you who are suffering."

[The Clans]

The ships continue on their dead run, flaring their engines once they orbit to the other side and enter low orbit to establish a geosynchonous orbit, scanning the surface all the while. Once they've achieved the correct orbit they again kill their engines and deploy a few shuttles toward designated landing grounds, intent on pulling any and all alien artifacts that they can from the ruins for later study.

[Zuko Darkborn]

"Sacrificing mere slaves is worth it, if it is to save the galaxy of you. Of course, if they did create the Asornuais, they would have a way to switch it off after it has destroyed you."

[Caspoi]

"So to rid the galaxy of 'heretical galaxy destroyers' like me you would unleash galaxy destroyers? Apart from showing of your inferior intellect you have proven that you are untrustworthy beings. From this day onward you will be shown no pity and any Krezy vessel will be shot down if it enters R'lyeh space."

Planetside the Yuxu research teams roam the surface of the planet taking energy readings from the glowing lights while other teams perform what can only be described as widescale looting by first taking 3D panoramic pictures of the interior of rooms before stripping them bare .
