Expedition to Nakturan Space

[Dragonsploof]

The Arch-Prophet looks out from the observation deck of the space station in orbit above Mardas at the Fleet heading out to discover the aliens he had seen from the Sub-Light Probes. The trio of ships slowly got farther away as they were speeding to the outer solar system to head into warp and follow the probes tracks to the encounter system he said a prayer for these brave explorers as they went out into the unknown.

As a Nakturian border patrol conducts it's duty of watching for anything unusual they do notice something, a faint ripple as the fabric of space is bended to some thing's will. The captain reports back to base about this disturbance and that she shall be observing it in case something new happens.

Dar'kas Fleet in Warp Travel:
"Admiral we are coming up to our warp exit in 20 minutes"
"Good have everyone ready this is the system with the probe in it. Oh and broadcast the choir throughout the fleet i pray for our safety"

The fleet soon exists warp travel to come across a few anomalies in the system.

As the Ship of Captain Heggloch watches the system the alien ship suddenly appears, somewhat startled but not completely suprised by it's appearance the Captain sends out a monotone signal to the ship so as to get it's attention.

Dark'as Fleet:
"Admiral! The anomalies have transmitted a signal towards our fleet."
"Turn our ships to the anomalies and send... a clip from our choir to the anomalies. Also do we have scan of them."
"Sir we have images of the anomalies they look like the alien ships encountered by our probe"
"Well start targeting programs just in case these Aliens do something aggressive, and get the Lead Missionary here i want his input on this"

As the ship's computer interprits the message the Nakturians observe it's counterpart and any discernable features that it may have. After it is done they look at the video and take it to be a way for the aliens to show how they look so they send one back (without audio) which shows Divine Warrior Baggloch and the rest of the rulers of the Nakturan Stratocracy.

After sending the video of the ships choir the Dar'kas ships receive a transmission in video of some being who look like they maybe of some importance and decide to send an image of the Most Holy Arch-Prophet Ruthur in all his magnificence with the Great Temple Complex of Furhol in the background. The Fleet also send a transmission asking to whom the ships belong to even though the Admiral presumes the Aliens know nothing of Dar'kas language.

A picture arrives of what is presumed to be the alien leadership as well as something else that the Nakturians can't quite place. In the spirit of cooperation however they send a picture of the two ships side by side, both to imply frendship and to ask for clearance to board them.

Receiving an image of the alien ship and the Dar'kas ship side by side made the Admiral wonder what it was he asked the crew present and the missionary and there was a few theories as to what it meant a popular one was that it was some boarding action but the question is it meant to be friendly or aggressive after a while the Admiral decided to send the image back to the Alien ships as a sign of agreement he hoped but just in case he had the ships soldiers assemble at the docking bays.

Upon receiving the return signal The Nakturan ship starts the engine and begins to head towards the alien one, it shows no hostile move as it does so and when it arrives it sends out three Nakturians led by Heggloch into the space between the ships.

[So are they space walking towards my ships or are they docked together?]

[Caspoi]

[Floating towards it technically, I just thought that the two ships' airlocks would not be compatible with one another.]

[Dragonsploof]

The Admiral with his retinue of soldiers open the airlocks to let the Aliens inside the docking bay the Dar'kas Space suits blocking their facial features all the while the soldiers have guns aimed at them subtlety.

[Caspoi]

The Nakturians enter, they themselves are armed with two swords (a shortsword as well as a longsword) and a shield though they are not currently drawn. Heggloch takes the lead and approaches what she presumes to be the leader of the party while giving of flashes of light from her tentacles. One of her companions carry some form of large technological device.

The beings enter the ship armed with sword-like weaponry the lead being giving of flashes of light from its tentacles along with one of them holding some device the Admiral has no idea what this could mean if it means anything he looks to the Missionary-Diplomat only to receive a shrug he extends his arm in greeting.

[Caspoi]

The lead Nakturian mimics the presumed gesture of greeting while still giving of flashes of light. Then she points at her mouth as if wanting to say something all the while giving of flashes of light.

The Alien mimics the greeting and points towards its mouth The admiral wonders what its trying to do is it hungry can we hear it speak he tells it about who he is and about the ship event though the he presumes the alien does not know what he is saying.

[Caspoi]

The Heggloch emits no sound as she countinues to point at her mouth while opening and shutting it repeatedly, apparantly oblivious to the fact that the aliens try to communicate with her.

The Admiral is getting impatient with the Alien he asks the Missionary what he thinks the missionary has about as much a clue as the Admiral had. Getting out his holographic communicator and shows an image of The Shadow of Eden and points at it.

[Caspoi]

The Captain gives up in her attempts to communicate and orders one of her crewmembers to bring forth the device. He does so and activates it and the device starts to give out both a series of flashes of light reminiscent of that of the Nakturrians as well as an unintelligeble sound.

[Dragonsploof]

The device lets out sounds that Admiral has never heard before could this be the Alien language or maybe the lights are he feels he is a bit in over his head with this first contact scenario he decides to start quoting scripture and sends a recording to the scientists back home.

[Caspoi]

As he begins to speak the device stops and stays still for a while. When he is done it countinues to give out lights, if silently. The Nakturians themselves observe everything it does intently.

The admiral looks at the object maybe its recording them to test this theory he using his holo communicator to show an image of his ravaged homeworld to the device.
