(They normally communicate via pheremone trails, but most can read or write as that's necessary for sending orders over long distances. The scribe is trying to see if they can use telepathy to read Xyrvid, since Uldin is too much of a bigot to let him do direct mind-to-mind communication.)

picking up on what they were trying to do the ambassador started to slowly write:

"I speak for the Great Realm of R'lyeh and welcome you"

"Supervisor Uldin appeared displeased at the scribe's initiative. After some debate with himself, supervisor Uldin finally decided that the scribe should relay the message 'We are the Xyrvid, and we are excited to meet another space faring race.' The ambassador countinued to write:

"Do you wish to serve the Great Old Ones, the rulers of this universe and all of the others?"

A late reply from the Kreazi Domain is sent.

"We call ourselves the Domain of the Kreazi, as we are the lowly hierarchies of Thyaras loyal to the Divine Beings, who shall protect us all from Apocalypse come again."

"Supervisor Uldin's reaction could only be described as appalled. Not an hour into our first contact and we were already being solicited to become servants to some other power was a thought that infuriated him. Uldin demanded that the scribe inform the 'Great Realm' that if they believe the Xyrvid would be servants to anyone they would be in quite the surprise, if they didn't find themselves under attack. Overseer Omdiir later commended the Hajjus scribe for being more diplomatic in his response, writing 'The Xyrvid are disinterested in serving a higher power currently. "So, some disaster wrought itself upon the galaxy before we ascended to those who can call themselves interstellar travelers? I would be interested to learn more about this." -Overseer Omdiir to the Thyaras

The ambassador looked unfazed by the news and countinued writing:

"Very well then, do you accept star-gazers to walk among you and spread our teachings to you?"

"It would not displease us if your kind were to join us on our worlds, provided that your kind assist in the betterment of the whole, and do not prevent others from failing in their duties." -Hajjus Scribe to R'lyeh Ambassador

"Of course not, we will do our utmost to keep the peace."

"Overseer Omdiir will have to give his blessing to this agreement before your people may come to our worlds. Unfortunately, Overseer Omdiir is preoccupied at this moment, but I will place the request. Expect to hear back within the week." -Hajjus Scribe to R'lyeh Ambassador
