Description:
The Terkon Directorate is a government in a technocratic fashion the best individuals are chosen for positions in how good they are in their field. A technocratic eliete controls almost all high ranking positions in the government this has lead to a disconnect between the normal working people and the government.

Description: The Terkon are species of reptilian origin have large dark eyes long necks and small mouths. In their society there are two main classes the scientists and the workers who are commonly opposed to each other which has and can be a problem as the workers provide the food and resources for the scientists to build and repair new tools to gather those resources as was the case of the great rebellion.

History:
The Terkon Directorate began as a coalition of three grand natins on the homeworld of Eta these were the Terkon Hegemony The Trunt League and The Helon Republic they formed The United Coalition which was a direct democracy. The UC quickly started a grand survey of their home system leading the survey team to discover an ancient alien AI which had been sent to  Helos to survey it and enlighten the locals. The AI proceeded to send the survey ship a great database of knowledge such a FTL Fusion power a form of government made for ideal efficiency and many other great things. Within half a century The United Coalition went from a direct democracy to a science directorate which lead to a problem the lower classes of society felt powerless as a new scientific elite came to power this feeling lead to the great Rebellion which nearly ruined the fledgling interstellar empire to ruin after the end of the rebellion the Terkon learned of the delicate situation it was in as another rebellion like the last would fracture the Terkon for the rest of time.
